Ganesh Visarjan In Accurate Institute Of Management & Technology

Accurate Institute celebrated “Ganpati Visarjan” joyfully in Knowledge Park-3, Greater Noida. “Ganpati Bappa …” there were so many voices to call Ganpati next Year. There was an environment of joy and happiness in the institute at this occasion. Everybody was wishing for happiness. Institute organized “Havan” at this auspicious occasion. All the faculty, staff and students participated in the “Pooja”. All of them were blessed by the Group Director of the Institute Ms. Poonam Sharma .

Everybody prayed for the progress and best future of the institute. In the last the supreme God “Ganpati” was given a sweet farewell. All the members of the institute danced and sang songs for Ganesha.

Accurate Institute of Management & Technology celebrated Annual Fest Utkrishti 2011

New Delhi August 31, 2011: Accurate Institute of Management & Technology, Greater Noida, celebrated its Annual Fest Utkrishti 2011 at the premises of AIMT. The Programme was graced by Laughter Champion Mr. Sunil Pal & Semi-finalist of Laughter Challenge Mr. Shambhu Shekhar. The event saw students showcasing their creativity in other fields by participating in the cultural program, solo dancing, band performance & fashion show etc. Marvellous performance of Hindi & English songs by Rudraksha Band have made the audience to dance. Fashion show was the main attraction of the entire program. It was divided into three main rounds as Introduction Round, Talent Round & Ramp Walk. The Jury have selected Mr. Accurate & Miss Accurate on the basis of three key rounds of the superb Fashion Show.

During the program Laughter Champion Mr. Sunil Pal & Semi Finalist of the show Laughter Challenge, have made teachers & students to be grinned with their excellence performance. Sunil Pal delivered a lot of jokes with his well known style and on the other side, Shambhu Shekhar entertained them with making the mimicry of many film stars. At the end of the program, Jury disclosed the name of the winners. Mr. Gaurav has been titled as Mr. Accurate 2011 & Ms. Neha as Miss Accurate 2011.

On this occasion Miss Poonam Sharma, Group Director Accurate Institute of Management & Technology, Greater Noida said we are carrying forward the tradition of organizing the event called "Utkrishti" this year it is "Utkrishti 2011". Its all a student show put together by students and the AIMT, Greater Noida team. Here the students and all the staff members have put in a lot of hard work to organize the entire event. They have spent days and nights to make this event successful. These kind of events gives students a chance to showcase their skills to the big players of the this industry. And the cultural programme provided them the much needed fun and entertainment. We at Accurate has always worked in the best interests of students. We provide them best of the infrastructure, facilities and trainers to make them industry ready so that they can tackle the today's cut throat competition.

Work Shop On Marketing- Strategic Marketing Communication & Selling Skills

Accurate Institute of Management & Technology, Greater Noida organized workshop in the field of Marketing and Finance for its students and faculty on 14th October 2011. Speakers were invited from corporate world who shared their views and experience with the audience. Mr. Vijay Raghwan Director- Metlife, shared his views on “Strategic Marketing Communication and Brand Activation”. He praised the quality of students in Accurate Institute and gave them best wishes for the future. Mr. Sachin Makkad – Zonal Business Head (Sales)- Bharti Airtel Ltd discussed his experience on the topic “Selling Skills and Practices”. He discusses the contributions of best marketing people and taught some of the best quality of them.

Industrial Visit

Industrial Visits were organized for the PGDM students, 2011 – 13 Batch on 17th September 2011, where students visited following companies – 1. Bisleri Limted, Sahibabad. 2. Halonix Limited, Noida 3. Moser Bear, Greater Noida 4. Dixon Technology, Noida The Industry visit began by the presentations given by respective company’s representative who gave the students, an insight about the company’s Mission, Vision, products and various other things which increased the understanding level of students about the company. During visit students were exposed to the production department of companies and told about the Production, Planning & Control Procedures, Export Prospects, Export Documentation and Logistics Procedures. The company personal’s were quite impressed with the learning attitude of Accurate’s students and have ensured the CCR team to co-operate in various Industry-Academia engagement activities. Institute is planning many other Industrial visits for PGDM students in near future to increase their practical knowledge about production units.

Experiential Learning – Orientation Program with Mr. Chetan Bhagat at Accurate Institute, Greater Noida

Accurate institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida, a premier management institute in Delhi/NCR organized a star-studded Induction Day Programme for the students of PGDM (Batch 2011-13). The function was inaugurated by the chief guest well known novelist Mr. Chetan Bhagat and also graced by the presence of corporate dignitaries from many Business Houses/Industries. The programme started by lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Chetan Bhagat, Dr.K.L.Chawla, Director AIMT and Dr.D.Pathak, Director ABS. It was attended by around 400 students of new batch representing diverse academic and professional backgrounds. The main purpose of this orientation program is to welcome the new students of the session and motivate them towards their bright future. 

The program successfully provided a one to one interactive platform to PGDM students who shared their doubts and fears with Mr. Chetan Bhagat. Mr. Bhagat shared their thoughts and experiences with the keen management students on opportunities in PGDM. The students also got a chance to interact with faculty members who shared their vast experience in the field of education. This interaction gave the students a clear idea of the current industrial norms and expectations. The Accurate faculties also shared with them tips on becoming effective managers, global leaders and entrepreneurs of the future. The parents attending the event were heralded as one of the most important shareholders in this education process and their presence was acknowledged with great respect.

On this occasion Mr. Chetan Bhagat thanked the students, parents and the faculty members of the institute for giving him a chance to address the students. He further said the day is yours. You have come to this college leaving all the comforts to become something in your life. Sharing his own tough experience of life he said that he approached eight publishers and all of them rejected to publish his book saying that the book can’t be sold, but he did not gave up and finally he got Rupa publisher who published his first book “Five point someone” . Till now more than 10 lacs copies have been sold and it is because he did not give up in life. 

Welcoming the new batch of students with her sheer eloquence Group Director of the institute Ms. Poonam Sharma extended a warm welcome to the students. She explained to the students that this is a B-School with a difference and the students would surely realize the difference after two years when they graduate from the institute and emerge as better individuals-both personally and professionally.

Guest Lecture ( Dr. D.K.Aggarwal, Dean Academics ) IIM Shillong

Dr. D.k Aggarwal (Dean Academics) IIM Shillong visited our campus on 12th August 2011. He delivered a a talk on paradigm shift in marketing. He has given several tips to the students to market a product in a competitive scenario.Dr. D.K. Aggrawal told to the students as per various international researches that 80% of the purchasing by the consumers has been done without any pre purchased decision. Ha has also discussed the current scenario of advertising and various acronyms of marketing. The session was very lively and interactive where in students asked various questions to Dr. D.K.Aggarwal.

Guest Lecture ( Ms. Ritika Gulati, Corporate Trainer, Jet Airlines)

Ms. Ritika gulati , Corporate trainer, Jet airlines visited our campus on 6 August 2011 and delivered a talk on importance of soft skill in the present corporate world. She made students aware about the demand at corporate world. She also motivated the students to explore there strengths and polish them more for today's competitive world. The session motivated the students to explore there strengths and polish them more for today's competitive world.
